My eight year old daughter Rosie was sorting through her change and said to me, "Have you ever seen a copper dime?" I nearly shit when I saw it. It's a 2005D Roosevelt dime WITHOUT IT'S ZINC COATING! Wow. I would appreciate professional numismatic opinions on this mistake.

That is pretty cool looking, but how did it loose it coating? My guess is that it never got one to begin with.
One of a kind find by your daughter for sure.
Soak a dime in vinegar for a week. No big thing.
