Living in Europe

You know, In Europe, it’s the little things you miss. Like water in the toilet. In Germany you get a “shelf” instead. After dropping a poop on the shelf you (um…they…the Germans, I mean) turn around and inspect the poop for healthy condition. After passing muster it’s flushed away with a gushing flood/stream of water.

Ever See a Copper Dime?

My eight year old daughter Rosie was sorting through her change and said to me, "Have you ever seen a copper dime?" I nearly shit when I saw it. It's a 2005D Roosevelt dime WITHOUT IT'S ZINC COATING! Wow. I would appreciate professional numismatic opinions on this mistake.

Third Grade Murder Plot Foiled

Waycross, Ga. --Relying on an informant, police were able to stop the murder of thirde grade teacher Ms. Belle Carter. The plot by as many as nine boys and girls at Center Elementary School in south Georgia was a serious threat, Waycross Police Chief Tony Tanner said Tuesday.

The special needs students were organized. A kids plotted to attack their teacher, bringing a broken steak knife, handcuffs, duct tape, mittens and other items for the job and assigning children tasks including covering the windows and cleaning up afterward.

Waycross Police Chief Tony Tanner said:

"We did not hear anybody say they intended to kill her, but could they have accidentally killed her? Absolutely," Tanner said. "We feel like if they weren't interrupted, there would have been an attempt. Would they have been successful? We don't know."

Husband Kills Wife While Installing Satellite Dish

Robert Long of Deepwater, Missouri was installing his new satellite TV in his bedroom. He needed to drill a hole in the wall for the cable running from the antenna. But there was one problem. He did not have a drill.

Instead of a drill, Bob decided to use his .22 caliber handgun. He then fired the weapon from inside is bedroom.

Tragically his wife Patsy, 34 was standing outside and was struck fatally in the chest. Neighbor's children saw Patsy get shot and went for help. She was given CPR by neighbors and family until medics arrived, police said. She was transported by air ambulance, but was pronounced dead at the hospital just after 6 p.m.

Bob thought she was inside with the kids.

Neighbor Mark Lassince said he believed it was a tragic accident.

"Bad things happen to good people,” Lassince said.

Patsy and Ronald Long were raising their children in their rural home overlooking Truman Lake.

"I was in the shower, and the son came in and told me his mom had been shot, so we went up there to see if we could help,” Lassince said.

Patsy Long worked as a carhop at a Sonic restaurant in Warsaw, Mo.

“She was a good person, you know, took care of her family,” Lassince said.

Henry County Prosecuting Attorney Richard M. Shields has yet to decide whether to prosecute Patsy's death as manslaughter.

Husband Meets Wife In Brothel

What are you doing here? - man asks wife at brothel

WARSAW (Reuters) - A Polish man got the shock of his life when he visited a brothel and spotted his wife among the establishment's employees. Polish tabloid Super Express said the woman had been making some extra money on the side while telling her husband she worked at a store in a nearby town.

"I was dumbfounded. I thought I was dreaming," the husband told the newspaper Wednesday.

The couple, married for 14 years, are now divorcing, the newspaper reported.

(Too bad they're divorcing. Looks like they had a lot in common.)

Hello Kitty AR-15

This is a real, operational AR-15 with a custom paint job by the folks at Armory Airbrush

This rifle is 100% legal in California because it is based on an "off-list" lower receiver made by Stag Arms and has no evil features at all, instead featuring a fixed stock instead of the evil collapsible stock, a muzzle brake in place of the vile flash-hider, and a MonsterMan Grip instead of the heinous and malicious plastic pistol grip. The C Products magazine looks like a 30 round magazine body but is permanently modified to only allow 10 rounds.

Not Photoshopped

My Husband is Staying at Disneyland

Anaheim, Calif.- Disneyland temporarily shut down the popular "The Pirates of the Caribbean" ride when park officials noticed a woman pouring an unknown powder into the water. When questioned, the woman said it was "baby powder".

It is suspected that this is another example of visitors leaving the ashes of their loved ones at the popular amusement park.
Disneyland Resorts spokesman Rob Doughty said he couldn't confirm that.

"It used to happen every once in a while at the Haunted Mansion, but now it's happening more."

Without written permission, it's a misdemeanor violation of the state Health and Safety Code to scatter human ashes on private property, but enforcement is difficult. Officials say the ashes pose no health threat.

"I can tell you that we do get people from time to time asking for permission to sprinkle ashes. Our policy is when we are asked for permission, we deny the request," Doughty said. "Beyond that, we don't know."

Singapore Bans Mile High Club

Singapore Airlines has become the first airline to put the Airbus A380 into service. The A380 is the world's largest airliner with a maximum passenger load of 840 people.

Singapore has opted to configure their jets to accommodate 471 passengers. This includes twelve fully enclosed suites with a double bed and a $50,000 ticket price.
The suite pictured comes with a catch. Singapore Airlines has announced that in flight sex is banned. Citing that the walls are not sound proof, Singapore Airlines says the ban is to ensure not to offend other passengers.

PA Hunter Claims Picture of Bigfoot

Here it is...

October 30,2007

A PHOTOGRAPH taken by a hunter in Pennsylvania has reignited debate over the existence of Bigfoot.

Rick Jacobs claims to have taken the pictures using a camera hung from a tree with an automatic trigger.

"We couldn't figure out what they were," Mr Jacobs said in a report by the Associated Press. "I've been hunting for years and I've never seen anything like this.''

Bigfoot enthusiasts say it appears to be the real deal but, perhaps predictably because of the quality of the photos, other experts say it looks like a bear "with a severe case of mange".

The Bigfoot sighting happened near the town of Ridgeway, in the Allegheny National Forrest, which is about 115 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Pennsylvania Game Commission spokesman Jerry Feaser says bears that are regularly trapped by the agency for the purposes of tagging are similar to Jacob's photos. "There is no question it is a bear with a severe case of mange," said Feaser.

A blog posted as Feaser's and claims to feature a video of the creature is a HOAX. Attempting to view the video triggers a malignant porn worm. Read more.
